MDAPP – Mooncoin Drug Awareness Parish Programme
Is having their Church gate collection this weekend February 19/20.
This programme is a peer drug education programme, which is run in conjunction with the Confirmation – healthy life choices programme.
It is coordinated by parish volunteers: Adults training – teenagers. Teenagers in turn educate the Confirmation students in the area of drug awareness, healthy life choice, self-esteem and using the gifts of the Holy Spirit in their daily lives. Our aim is to enable Confirmation students in their transition from primary to secondary school. Due to the cut backs we no longer have access to state funding. We are totally dependant on the generosity of you the parishioners for which we are sincerely grateful.
