TWENTY FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME, September 19, 2010

CHURCH OR SCHOOL CHOIR/S MUSIC WORKSHOP
A church or school choir/s music workshop will be held in Glenmore Church on Saturday, October 9 at 5pm. The workshop will continue on into the celebration of the parish vigil Mass at 7.30pm. To defray expenses there will be a charge of €8 per person with a maximum charge of €125 per parish. The Workshop is run by Tom Kendzia, well known as a composer, arranger, producer, teacher, clinician, author and performer. He has been a professional liturgical musician for more than 30 years. Tom held a very successful workshop in Kilkenny earlier this year. This workshop is ideal for existing choirs, big or small, adult or children, who want to develop techniques, widen their repertoire and discover how to use individual and collective skills more effectively. It would give direction and encouragement to those hoping to create a parish choir. This is a valuable resource on our doorstep. If you have any questions please contact Fr. Michael A. O’Connor. P.P. on 087- 2517766.
