THE LONGEST DAY IN MOONCOIN
On June 21 I intend to take loads of pictures of people and events in Mooncoin. The best pictures will be used in a forthcoming Picture Book. I will be available all day to take pictures. Let me know if you are doing anything special, or any events happening on this day. Maybe the book can be linked to a local charity.

Mooncoin Intermediate played Tullogher/Rosbercon on Sunday evening May 30, Mooncoin 1-19 : Tullogher/Rosbercon 1-12. This result put Mooncoin up to 3rd place on the table.
In the Senior Football Mooncoin took on Glenmore on Wed. June 2, Mooncoin 0-7 : Glenmore 2-6.
In the Junior B league/championship Mooncoin took on Mullinavat on Saturday, June 5, Mooncoin 0-10 : Mullinavat 1-13.

INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER HQ TANZANIAN ORPHANAGE PROGRAMME
In the Sub-Saharan country of Tanzania over 970,000 orphans exist as a result of AIDS. This Summer Claire Sullivan will travel to Tanzania where she will volunteer in an orphanage for 2 months. On June 18 at 9.00pm in The GAA Complex, Piltown, a night of Irish Music, Song and Dance will be held in aid of this great cause. Admission is €5 and an enjoyable night will be guaranteed.
