Supported Employment is an initiative that enables and empowers people with disabilities to be employed in paid jobs in the open labour market.It is a free and confidential service to both employers and employees. We can help all candidates throughout County Kilkenny who are over eighteen years of age and have a disability for example; Intellectual, Mental Health, Physical, Sensory or Hidden.We offer a wide range of services to our candidates for example; • Support with career planning, CV preparation and interview experience.• Sourcing of suitable employment to match your skills and abilities.• Advice and support to assist you in preparing for work.• On the job support.• Assistance in becoming part of the regular workforce and enjoying social and financial advantages.We also facilitate employers with:• Assessing your recruitment needs.• Providing you with suitable employees to fill your position.• Matching your needs as an employer with the skills, knowledge and experience of suitable candidates.• Providing support, if necessary, with induction, on the job training, evaluation and monitoring.• Providing you with advice and information on relevant grants and schemes.Should you require more information about Supported Employment, or if you would like to avail of the service please see the below contact details. INTRODUCTION TO CHILDMINDING COURSE
