PRAYER TO ST JOSEPH IN DIFFICULT TIMES
Great Saint Joseph throughout your life you were a man of boundless hope in the midst of all the difficulties you encountered – the painful circumstances surrounding the birth of Jesus, the flight into Egypt – your only source of strength was your unwavering hope in the goodness, the power and the faithfulness of God.
Today we come before you full of confidence. Since you are so close to God, please unite our prayers to yours. Ask your son to sustain us during the trails we are now facing.
Help us to move beyond our suffering by sharing with us that same strength that sustained you through you own trials. May hope be for us, as it was for you, a light in the darkness and a guide along the way every day of our life. Amen.

PARISH’S RESPONSE TO PAKISTAN RELIEF FUND
You will be happy to learn your response realised €4507.00 God reward you generosity. The following letter came from the Presentation Generalate Monasterevin, Co. Kildare.

Dear Parishioners of Mooncoin.
Thank you for your prayers and support for the Sisters and people of Pakistan during the recent devastating floods. We have been so moved by the generosity of so many people in sending financial help for the victims. Our Sisters are working with other Religious in Pakistan to support the giving of immediate aid and also in providing houses for the many people, Muslim & Christian, who have been left homeless. Although the flood waters are beginning to slowly recede, the long term effects of the flooding will continue to be devastating for the people.
We ask you to continue to hold in your prayers the Sisters and people of Pakistan.
With love and blessings
Sr. Emer Manning (Former leader of Pakistan Mission).
